E. M., and the Posies).   To close out the evening - a rare performance by Polyphonics!  Ken Ellison recites his effervescent poetry while Chappell creates sonic landscapes on keyboards and guitar.

          starring talented young actors Luke DeGregori, Karmen Bryan-Auker, and Ian Powell, and marking Chappell's directorial debut
     The evening's entertainment will also feature a few very short (and very hilarious) plays with lots of audience involvement (trust me) and Karaoke Nightmare, a theatrical/musical piece by Chappell

    Chappell is a new member of Gamelan Tunas Mekar, performing at the Boulder International Fringe Festival.  The blurb: "Witness interlocking rhythms and flurries of dynamic percussion performed on exotic bronze instruments.  Shimmering compositions are intricately woven with storytelling dance for an effect that is both startling and compelling."  I Made Lasmawan is our Balinese teacher, a fantastic musician who leads several gamelans in Colorado and Wyoming.
