Some say that rock 'n' roll was born in the U. S. A. in the 1950s, but
countless musicians through the ages have known how to rock.
Come hear an assortment of music by German baroque organists, English
prog-rock bands, Polish mystics, Swedish post-modern string quartets,
unique American composer/bandleaders, operatic Broadway
composer/conductors, eclectic Czech composers, and French
impressionists.

One
of my main goals as a musician is to explore the connections between
music from different cultures and eras. The selections on this
program are quite diverse in style and mood, but they all share a
certain intensity, and they all rock,
in their own ways. Some of these songs and pieces are well-known,
others fairly obscure, but all are fantastic compositions. I
encourage you to come hear for yourself...
